How Centre Glass repairs a windscreen / windshield chip
Our expert technicians will first assess the chip damage to see if it is repairable.
We then:
1. Clean and prepare the area to allow the resin to bond with the windscreen / windshield
2. Place our Bridge and Chamber device over the damage and create a clean vacuum
3. Fill the chip with our special resin (it’s our best ever!)
4. Ensure our Bridge and Chamber device pushes the resin right to the end of the micro-cracks
5. Use a UV light to harden the resin
6. Clean and polish the windscreen / windshield and remove any excess resin for smooth finish.

Remember the rule of thumb is as follows:
A windscreen / windshield chip less than 3mm (smaller than a matchstick head) does not usually need to be repaired.
